Happy Hanukah!

Happy 4th Birthday Ean!

I can't believe that my baby is 4! Where did the time go? He is no longer a toddler or even a little boy he is a big boy! Ean had a very exciting day, he started his day with a Birthday bagel(bagel with a candle in it) and then went to school to have cupcakes with all his friends, then had a birthday lunch with Mama and Adam and finally a pizza dinner with Bubba, Foofie, Andrew, Adam, Dad, and Mom. I asked Ean what he wanted for his birthday dessert and he said"KEY LIME PIE!" Just like his mama would have requested, my fav! With all the excitement behind us he is now tucked into his bed and sound asleep and can't wait to play with his cool school and helmet heroes tomorrow.

Unfortunately my camera is not working properly these days so i have no pix to share. Hopefully uncle Andrew captured a few that I can obtain from him.

Captain America!

Introducing Captain America!

Ean never wants to get his face painted and for the the 1st time at Nick's Birthday party he decided to join Batman(Nick) and be a super hero! He woke up today and and was very sad that Captain America was gone off his face so we printed a picture of him so he could look at Captain America all the time. Thanks Marucci's for a great party!

P.S. Sorry for the absent blogging lately it has been crazy! I will hopefully have time to update in the next week or so.

Trick or Treat!

Trick or Treat was last night and boy did the kids have the a blast! The rain held off and it was the perfect weather. Adam loved eating the candy as we walked around and Ean was mostly concerned with how much candy he could get. We are going trick or treat for the second time at Nana's house on Friday and Ean is already asking when he can go.

Update

Sorry it has been a little bit since I posted, we have been busy as usual. Ean started a new preschool and loves it! He is going M-Th which is good for him and mommy. He has definately had a growth spurt, how do I know? I went to put on a pair of his 3T jeans the other day and they came up to shins. He said to me, "Mom these are ridiculous!" Needless to say I had to go and buy him some 4T jeans. If you know me you know that I buy clothes at the end of the season(SALE, why pay full price when they grow out of it so fast) for the next year. For some reason all I purchased last time was shorts and sweatpants.

As for updates on Adam, he had a his 18 mo. check up and is weighing in at almost 26lbs. and is 34in. tall. BIG BOY! He says many words now, such as hot dog, bye bye, nana, buba, cheeze, hot... He also thinks that he can pee on the potty like his older brother. (see pix) He will go into the bathroom and pull the stool up to the toilet, lift up both seats and wants to go. When we do take his diaper off for him and he will go, it has become more of an obsesssion for him. He is no where near potty trained it is more of a monkey see monkey do. He wants to do everything Ean does and copies whatever he does. Adam and I are starting a playgroup this coming Thur., which I am very excited about. I did the same playgroup with Ean when we first moved to Braford. It will be nice to do something with Adam since much of that doesn't happen often. I feel guilty sometimes that I do as much with Adam as I did with Ean at this age.

We waited in line for over an hour today at PBK in burlington to see the Star Wars characters and by the look on Ean's face it was all worth it!
